How To Help Your Toddler Answer "What Did You Do Today?"

What 99.9% of parents would love their toddler to be able to communicate with them is so possible! 💥🤯💯

We first need to teach our children how to answer our questions appropriately 💯

If you want your toddler to be able to answer the question, what did you do today? Read this.

So here's what to do if your toddler doesn't have many words yet, or they don't have the language to answer the question, what did you do today when you pick them up from daycare or grandma's house?

Ask the teacher what did they do today? And let them tell you what they played with, how they felt, what went on during the day. And then when you get in the car and you're driving home, you tell them that. Ask them the question, what did you do today? And then you fill in the blank. You played with the blocks, you had a yummy snack, you slept so well at nap. And you give them the words around what it is that they did. Eventually they will be able to start talking and tell you those things, but this really sets them up for success to teach them how to answer that question.

I challenge you to start doing this with your little one every time you pick them up. If you're going to do it, let me know in the comments. And if you love this information, this is just the tip of the iceberg of what we cover in my talkative Toddlers program, and you are welcome to join us at anytime.
